Roles and Responsibilities: • Responsible for system interfaces between our software and client’s internal systems. • Responsible for system implementation and production support. • Design and develop Perl/Shell scripts, Java functions and SQL queries. • Create functional requirements documentation, and design specifications. • Design and manage data model, create views and indexes. • Follow company’s code standards and industry’s best practices in software development. • Ensure quality of solution by performing design review, code review and test case review. • Prepare unit test scripts and perform unit testing. • Perform regression testing, stress testing and system integration testing. • Troubleshooting and resolving production issues in timely manner. • Work in on call production support. • Investigate performance issue and improve system performance. • Create and maintain procedure and operation documents. • Design and develop alerts and scripts to monitor system resources and health. • Perform database administration, backup, recovery, replication and clustering. • Liaise with development team, IT operations and infrastructure experts. • Resolve wide range of difficult problems in creative and practical ways. • Familiar with and worked in environment based on SOA and ITIL standards. • Prepare risks/issues management analysis, and escalate risk and issue in timely fashion.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Responsible for daily IT operations in the Toronto branch. • Responsible for running application systems, including payment and clearing, foreign exchange, and credit and loan systems. • Support desktop computers, LAN/WAN servers, internet and telephone systems. • Maintain procedure and operation documents for daily operations and troubleshooting. • Run daily/monthly updates, reports, data extraction, backup and restore. • Liaise with all levels of users in various departments and branches. • Liaise with the bank’s regional office in United States, and head office in Amsterdam.
