Nora Yang

With over 25 years of executive and scientific leadership in the biopharmaceutical industry, I am a biotech senior executive and expert in biomedical translational sciences. I have co-founded or served as chief executive officer and chief scientific officer for four biotech companies, raising capital in both public and private equity markets, and bringing therapies from bench to global markets in various therapeutic areas. As the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer, I led the development of novel therapies including genetic medicines for oncology, CNS, and auditory disorders, advancing several candidates to clinical trials and to market launch in the US and EU. I have been a pioneer and a passionate leader in rare and ultra-rare disease translational research, with a broad network in orphan drug development and a track record of delivering 5x returns on investment. I have authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and patents, and have taken five drugs through successful NDA and BLA filings and more than 15 investigational drugs through successful IND filings in the US, EU, and Japan. My mission is to leverage my unique blend of business and scientific skills to accelerate the discovery and development of innovative and impactful therapies for patients with unmet medical needs.
