Born and raised in Romania, I attended the University of Babes Bolyai in Cluj Napoca, Romania, where I obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999. I then practiced as in-house counsel with a Romanian bank and had regular conduct of files dealing with real estate, security transactions, foreclosure proceedings and international banking transactions. I emigrated to Canada in 2003 and earned my second law degree from the University of Victoria in 2008. I was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2009 and restrict my practice to Family Law and Wills and Estates. I have experience appearing in both the BC Supreme Court and the BC Court of Appeal. I also have extensive experience conducting Provincial Court family law hearings. In my spare time I enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle, which includes skiing, hiking and fishing.
