M&A and Financial Analyst

Reported directly to the CEO and CFO at Jacobs (NYSE:J), a global Fortune 500 company ($15B in revenue), in various capacities: • Managed a global $330M+ (at the time of my departure) restructuring. Developed process for accountability which significantly impacted the company’s bottom line • Developed the process to support the company’s working capital improvement program. Worked with the executive team and business leaders to negotiate targets and provide regular reporting on progress. At the time of my departure, the program yielded year-over-year working capital reduction of $192M and DSO decreased by 10 days versus the prior year • Served as CFO liaison for consultant activities including an initiative to achieve $4M in indirect spend cost savings working closely with global procurement teams. Responsible for overall project direction, reporting, and progress tracking • Worked with the executive team to develop the case for a share repurchase program, including creating a cash flow model, which led to the approval by the Board of Directors for a $500M share repurchase program • Supported all aspects of global M&A activities including the preparation of financial models to analyze and value potential investments. Completed 10+ deals over a 3 year period in various capacities • Led other special initiatives and activities for corporate senior executives: - Performed ad hoc analytic tasks (e.g. data analysis, modeling) to support strategy, business / financial planning, and operations - Responsible for collecting data and preparing various reports for the executive management team and the Board of Directors on key financial metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. - Monitored operations of global business units and prepared related analyses and participated in quarterly financial and operational reviews - Supported and managed various other ad hoc corporate initiatives and projects such as market research, competitive analysis, etc.
