I started my career in the area of quality assurance and quality control, and further broaden my expertise and specialization in corporate and project quality management, including auditing. After fifteen (15) years in Quality Management, I was given an opportunity to lead and manage a subsidiary company (SPV) in providing specialized technical services for projects and operations, including manpower services, to Offshore Business and its joint venture companies. My career development journey then continues in Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) with my current position being the Head of HSSE for Offshore Business, MISC Berhad. With the current role, I am responsible for the planning, development, management and implementation of HSSE management system, including programs and initiatives, for the business, projects and operations. I am a certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 lead auditor, registered with the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA). I am also a certified Tripod Beta (Bronze) practitioner, certified Ergonomics Trained Person (Advanced ERA), certified Health Risk Assessor and certified Company Security Officer.
