Appointed as Acting Head, Strategic Finance, with expanded leadership responsibility covering Strategic Financial Management, Treasury, Credit Recovery & Monitoring and Finance Optimisation & Solutions. Responsible for leading the broader strategic finance agenda, ensuring continuity of critical finance operations, strengthening financial governance, and aligning capital, liquidity, recovery and performance management priorities with the Group’s strategic objectives. The role involves providing strategic direction across finance planning, treasury management, funding strategy, cash flow visibility, credit recovery governance, finance optimisation initiatives and executive decision support. Acts as a key finance advisor to the CFO and senior management, with focus on improving financial discipline, enhancing cash and capital efficiency, institutionalising performance governance, and supporting business transformation across the Group. Key scope includes supporting enterprise-wide financial decision-making through scenario analysis, capital discipline, ROE/ROIC assessment, cash flow modelling, strategic business reviews, M&A transaction support, and Middle East strategic finance and funding matters. This includes providing financial analysis, valuation input, scenario assessment, funding visibility, governance support and decision-ready recommendations for strategic transactions and international business matters. The role also ensures continuity of critical treasury and credit recovery operations during leadership transition, while progressively institutionalising a more integrated Strategic Finance operating model across planning, liquidity, recovery, optimisation, transaction support, international finance oversight and performance governance.

Led the Strategic Financial Management function with responsibility for Group-level financial planning, performance management, strategic finance analytics, and management reporting across a diversified multi-country business portfolio covering Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and the Middle East. Acted as a strategic finance partner to the CFO and senior management, providing financial insights, governance support and decision-ready analysis to drive business performance, capital discipline and long-term value creation. Key scope included leading the Group AOP and forecasting processes, reviewing business unit performance, preparing CFO and Board-level financial materials, supporting strategic transactions, and strengthening financial governance across business units and international operations. Led CFO decision support on Middle East strategic finance and funding matters, including financial performance assessment, funding requirement analysis, cash flow visibility, intercompany funding considerations, governance escalation and preparation of decision-ready recommendations for CFO review. Played a central role in translating complex financial and operational data into actionable recommendations for profitability improvement, cash flow discipline, capital allocation and risk management, while supporting stronger financial oversight and strategic finance governance across both domestic and international operations.

Led regional strategic performance management and business planning for edotco Group, supporting multi-country operations across the regional tower infrastructure business. Responsible for driving Group-wide planning, performance governance, business review cadence, financial analytics and strategic decision support to strengthen revenue growth, cost discipline, cash flow visibility and investment returns. Acted as a key finance business partner to Group leadership and country management teams, translating operational and financial data into actionable insights for performance improvement, capital allocation and long-term business planning.

Led the full finance function for edotco Malaysia newly acquired subsidiary, covering financial reporting, FP&A, tax, statutory compliance, internal controls, business partnering and financial governance. Progressed into the Head of Finance role to operationalise Group strategic plans at country level, aligning finance, commercial and operational priorities to support organisational transformation, post-acquisition integration and sustainable business growth. Played a key role in supporting the successful execution and realisation of M&A objectives, contributing to the expansion of market share and strengthening edotco Malaysia’s position in line with the Group’s aspiration to become the leading tower company in the region. Acted as a strategic finance partner to the Country MD, Group Finance and business leadership team, providing financial insights and execution support to translate Group strategy into country-level performance outcomes. Contributed to strategic planning and performance delivery, achieving more than 30% revenue growth and double-digit annual EBITDA growth for three consecutive years post-acquisition.

Managed finance and tax functions covering financial closing, management reporting, corporate tax, indirect tax, GST, withholding tax, tax audit management and deferred tax assessment. Played a key role in GST implementation, including tax configuration readiness, process alignment, documentation requirements, stakeholder coordination and post-implementation compliance monitoring. Managed tax audit queries, supported tax position review and deferred tax recognition/disclosure, while strengthening tax governance, statutory compliance, finance discipline and business decision support.

Managed internal audit and risk management activities, providing independent assurance on governance, internal controls, operational processes and risk management practices. Responsible for planning and executing audit reviews, identifying control gaps, recommending process improvements and supporting management in strengthening governance standards. The role built strong foundations in risk-based audit, internal controls, business process review and governance, which later supported broader finance leadership responsibilities.

Managed finance and treasury activities, covering financial reporting, cash management, banking operations, funding support, working capital monitoring and financial control. Responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations while ensuring effective liquidity management, timely reporting and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements. Played a key role in driving finance business process improvements and supporting the implementation of ERP systems across multiple functions, contributing to stronger process standardisation, reporting efficiency, internal control discipline and data visibility across the organisation.
