* Assist with learner registration and exit from residence * monitor and manage learners during hours and after hours * mentor learners throughout the programme * escort learners to all programme events, classes and destinations * act as a link between learners, programme staff and curriculum specialist * mediate between learners and Residential assistance leader * support and contain learners throughout the programme * motivate learners to participate and interact throughout the programme * attend Residential assistant debriefing sessions * any other duties that may be delegated by the programme staff arising from an urgent circumstance.

* Attend lectures for the course * Prepare for tutorials (reading and lesson plan) * Teach two 45-minute tutorials per week * Assign 1 hour consultation time for students per week outside tutorial and lectures * Marking of short tutorial assignments for both tutorial groups per week * 3 hour invigilation assistance at the test and mid-year Sociology undergraduate examinations * Attend weekly meetings with tutorial coordinator and lecturer.

I did my undergraduate degree in BA (Social Sciences), majoring in sociology (where I received a certificate of outstanding performance) and political studies. In 2014 I was awarded the postgraduate merit award to further my studies in Development Studies (Hons).
