• Responsibility for the management of external manufacturing organizations, including ongoing contractual oversight • Drive continuous improvement of the overall business relationship • Proactive identification of supply risks and creation of strategies to avoid or minimize their impact • Cross functional coordination with the internal stakeholders • Proactive review of sourcing conditions; challenge of COGS and identification of optimization measures • Collaboration in global purchasing, transfer and harmonization projects

• Independent purchasing of finished medicinal products and their components as well as initiation and monitoring of repackaging campaigns • Preparation of requests for quotations • Close cooperation with the Third Party Manufacturing department (strategic purchasing) • Order processing in SAP (incl. master and transfer data maintenance) and coordination of deliveries of orders to subsidiaries in cooperation with Logistics • Coordination of new launches and product transfers in cooperation with the Launch & Transfer team • Collaboration on projects, both purchasing-related and cross-departmental
