About
As an accomplished director of sporting events in the city of Indianapolis, I have had the tremendous experience to work on some of the most prominent events in the country. With a list ranging from world and national championships to a Super Bowl and everything else in between, I have been able to hone my management, leadership and organizational skills. The opportunity to work on so many outstanding events has afforded me the privilege to learn from the best event minds in the country. Most recently, I have taken on a new position as the State Director of the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay. This 5 1/2 week event will take place in the fall of 2016 and involve stops in all 92 counties in Indiana. It is an exciting challenge with many new experiences ahead. I look forward to using my past experiences in sports, event logistics and planning to put together an event all Hoosiers can enjoy as we celebrate the State's 200 year history. I hope you'll join me along the route.

state director - indiana bicentennial torch relay

As the State Director, I oversee all activities related to the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay. The Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay is a 5 ½ week 2,300+ mile journey through each of Indiana’s 92 counties that will take place during the months of September and October, 2016. I am responsible for the planning and management of the statewide movement of the torch and work closely with a state planning task force, Regional Liaisons and County Coordinators to accomplish this goal.

Served as the event coordinator for the Hoosier State Games until its closure in 2002. This series of events, previously called the White River Park Games, was in place to encourage sport and physical activity for the states youth and adults and served as a state championship in 10 sports. I provided direction and oversight to baseball, boys and girls swimming, master swimming, diving, bowling and boys and girls soccer.
