Allen Marine Tours is a company that takes cruise ship passengers out on 3-4 hr tours to watch whales. When I arrived that summer they wished to implement a sales tracking system. The company had 12 crews and 11 boats and wished to track sales both by boat and by crew to curb a theft issue they had had in previous years. While there that summer I organized and tracked all sales by boat and by crew, resulting in a dramatic drop in the amount of missing inventory, as well as, leaving a system in place for the future.

Card holder and company member. Each year we toured schools in the Chicago-land doing performances and workshops with children and adolescents from age 3-18. Each winter we presented a show at Northwestern University with new works created during our rehearsal process.

Assisted customers with bicycle fittings, information about products we offered, and personal suggestions about how I ride and the products I recommend.

* Worked with Set Designer and Director to design the set. * Organized the budget for materials and labor. * Recruited and managed a team of builders for set construction. * Organized a building schedule, a load-in schedule and load-out schedule. * Evaluated all possible safety hazards: the set, the lights, the sound, etc.

Campus book service is an independent online college textbook distribution company. When I joined the company they were using handwritten labels and stamping each package individually. There was no tracking for any of our packages and the packing materials that were being used were inadequate and resulted in damage to many of the books. Also, there was a large portion of our inventory that we were informed could not be sold on certain websites. Since I have been working there I have: Created guidelines for listing and pricing of textbooks to identify optimal online distribution channels, resulting in a 33% increase in annual sales. Created streamlined shipping and handling procedures, including upgraded packaging, printing out labels that included postage and tracking information Addressed all customer service issues, by examining specific issues such as damage to item or delay in reception of the item, etc. then created standards for the appropriate response by the customer service team

Developing and editing content for Knewton's adaptive software. Wrote, edited and peered 3,200 new questions and explanations for the Readiness program based on older content while maintaining the same educational standards and focuses as the originals. Worked with my manager on feedback for a 3rd party company who provided us with some of the questions to preserve the integrity of course.
