The American Investment Council (AIC) is an advocacy and resource organization established to develop and provide information about the private investment industry and its contributions to the long-term growth of the U.S. economy and retirement security of American workers. Member firms of the AIC consist of the country’s leading private equity and growth capital firms united by their successful partnerships with limited partners and American businesses.

LAVA Gov provides resources to learn about how public policy impacts angel investors, venture capital and private equity. We curate programs for founders and investors highlighting related topics on government grants, govtech, and political influencers.

Politiscope exists to instill confidence in voters by educating them with factual, reliable, and easy-to-understand political information in a central location. Our goal is to change the perception of politics and reshape the way political information is sought out and consumed.

• Managed effective retention programs, development initiatives, staff relations in order to increase voter participation through voter registration and absentee ballot application collection • Organized political data to assist in electoral targeting • Ensured compliance with relevant local laws and regulations as well as provided risk management oversight • Drafted persuasive messaging based on local economic development research tied to business tax, gun laws, and job creation

Cohort V. This UC Berkeley Executive Education program (co-developed by BLCK VC, Operator Collective, and Salesforce Ventures) is designed to impart the foundations of investing and form a community of high-powered Black operators and technology executives who, together, will represent the future of black fund managers and angel investors across the country.
