Selected for incubation at Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) as part of Elevate 2024-2025 for our sustainable startup, Microleer, focused on developing next-generation vegan leather from agricultural waste.

Microleer, my vegan leather startup, has been selected for the Nidhi Prayas program at the CCAMP Incubation Centre! Grateful for this incredible opportunity to accelerate our journey towards sustainable innovation in the leather industry.

Microleer Biopolymers LLP is partnering with Mount Carmel College as an Industry Connect partner to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial practice. Through this collaboration, students gain hands-on exposure to sustainable biomaterials, biotechnology, and product innovation, aligned with current industry needs. The program is designed to equip students with practical skills, industry-relevant knowledge, and entrepreneurial mindset through structured engagements such as: • Industry-led workshops and guest lectures • Hands-on laboratory training and live projects • Exposure to startup ecosystems, R&D workflows, and product development • Mentorship in innovation, sustainability, and applied research This initiative enables students to apply classroom concepts to real industrial challenges, while Microleer contributes to capacity building, skill development, and employability enhancement in emerging green technologies.

As a dedicated member and industry expert in the Zoology Department Board of Studies at Mount Carmel College, I am committed to advancing academic excellence and innovation in our field. Collaborating with colleagues, faculty, and students, my goal is to enhance curriculum, foster research, and inspire the next generation of zoologists. Together, we will lead theewr department towards greater prominence in scientific inquiry and conservation efforts.

Launchpad 22 - successfully developed 100% organic leather through fermentation technology.

Currently have been incubated at NSRCEL - IIMB for our startup Vermicon. We are in ideation and prototyping stage of bioplastics!

Worked as a technician in the COVID-19 department, conducting diagnostic studies and analysis for the identification and management of COVID-19, including PCR testing, antibody detection, and viral load assessment.

Experiment designing and working, literature survey, work planning annd execution, time management and organisation.
