Professional or technical advice to help you to build your new glass factory, to sell your used and new machines, to sell your products, to find your machines or anything else. Providing strategic leadership and direction to operations of float plant and glass processing plant with a sharp focus on top and bottom line performance.  Formulate and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure defined production targets are achieved.  Deftly manage all aspects of production including production planning, resource planning, capacity planning and manpower planning.  Partner across functions to ensure proper planning and seamless execution, thereby minimizing production losses due to delay.  Schedule and implement predictive, preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to increase machine availability, reliability and usability.  Promote a cost and quality conscious culture. Institutionalize processes for cost effectiveness like outsourcing, alternate sourcing etc  Provide prompt and accurate resolution to complex technical issues  Champion the adoption of new technologies / methodologies to enhance operational and cost efficiency.  Analyze various production reports & suggest process improvement initiatives to facilitate decision making.

Manufacturing & Operations areas: To achieve planned production/Scale-up consistent with prescribed quality standard. To ensure proper utilizations of capacities, debottleneck to improve on capacities to workout collaborative manufacturing options. To achieve stipulated uptime of plant equipments by timely preventive and regular maintenance; thereby achieve monthly production/Scale-up targets in efficient manner through minimum breakdown hours To give suggestions for improvement in operational system and methods. To develop a strong second line at each function & strengthen the leadership for operation team. To train and motivate workers and staff to follow operating manuals for safe handling of materials and to create safety consciousness amongst themselves. To ensure all the factory areas as well as machine and equipment are kept clean and properly maintained. To ensure and maintain good relations with workers and union to solve their problems in consultation with concerns authorities of the group. To carry over all functions in a cost effective manner and to ensure cost reduction wherever possible and find out area where it needs. To attend grievances at all level of employees and union members in co-ordination with departmental/Sectional in-Charge and keep report to AVP/VP/EVP Operations. To ensure maintenance of records, book, files, register, CDs at the factory depending upon the usage. To review performance of subordinate for timely discharge of their duties. Their rating and recommend for their promotions. To co-ordinate and to establish the harmony and good relation among the various departments within the factory. To make full co-ordination with factory and Corporate Office on various related issues. To coordinate with inter department (Engg, R&D, QC, | Prime QA, SHE, SCM Marketing, Finance, Projects, HR) to maintain interdepartmental harmony
