* Examining credit files for completeness and timeliness of information, noting exceptions for correction. * To analyse credit proposals by reviewing business model, industry position, financial capacity, repayment capability, collateral adequacy, Account conduct etc. * To ensure credit facilities have been properly structured, pricing and collateral is adequate without any violation of internal guidelines. * Developing assessments of the appropriate risk rating for the reviewed clients and recording analyses and conclusions. * Prepare Credit Appraisal Summary with appropriate recommendations for approval, rejection or amendments based on credit analysis. * Ensure timely approval or decision on credit requests in accordance with Service Level Agreement with business units or within prudent time limits for the activity. * Monitoring credit trends in portfolios and reporting observations to the Department Head and Managers. * Ensuring implementation of all audit recommendations and minimizing occurrence of any deviation during audit checks.
