During this time, I have developed several skills critical to the successful purification of proteins. My experience with DNA extraction, PCR, cloning, and gene expression analysis has enabled me to effectively design and construct plasmids for recombinant protein expression. I have also gained proficiency in protein purification techniques such as chromatography, dialysis, and centrifugation, allowing me to isolate proteins of interest with high purity and yield. Additionally, I gained skills in protein quantification, characterization, and analysis using SDS-PAGE and western blotting, which has enabled me to accurately assess protein quality and activity. Throughout my internship, I have worked collaboratively with my colleagues and have developed excellent communication and teamwork skills. I am passionate about molecular biology and protein purification, and I am excited to continue to develop my skills in these areas.

During my internship, I gained hands-on technical knowledge in the field of microbiology. As an intern, my responsibilities included performing various microbiological tests, including culturing and sensitivity testing, serological testing, and molecular testing. These tests involved the isolation and identification of various microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. I utilized aseptic techniques to minimize the risk of contamination during sample collection and processing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results. Additionally, I maintained and operated laboratory equipment, such as automated blood culture systems, spectrophotometers, and PCR machines, and received training in the proper maintenance and calibration of this equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Furthermore, I learned to interpret test results and communicate findings to medical staff through detailed reports and presentations. I also participated in implementing infection control measures, such as standard precautions and transmission-based precautions, to minimize the spread of infectious diseases. I gained a deeper understanding of the various types of personal protective equipment and how to use them appropriately. I gained a deeper understanding of the complex interactions between microorganisms and the human body. Through this experience, I learned how to perform various microbiological tests, maintain laboratory equipment, implement infection control measures, and conduct research projects. I am grateful for this opportunity to develop my technical skills.
