From an early age, I’ve been captivated by the way sports bring people together, not just as fans, but as communities united by shared emotion, purpose, and possibility. Over time, I’ve come to see that the true impact of sports extends far beyond the game itself. It lies in their ability to connect industries, cultures, and ideas to inspire social progress. This belief inspired me to pursue a career in sports event management and, more recently, to launch The Huddle, a cross-sector community for sports professionals and emerging leaders to exchange insights, foster collaboration, and explore how sports can drive meaningful change while also exploring cross-sector collaboration. My vision for the sports industry is to harness its influence to inspire positive direction and purpose, with sports organizations serving as leaders that model values of integrity, inclusion, and collective progress.
