As a research assistant, I was responsible for running several different studies with children between the ages of 4-12. General tasks involved overseeing our testing site at the Museum, recruiting participants there in person or scheduling appointments over the phone/e-mail, obtaining consent and other necessary documentation from the parents of the participants. After data collection, I followed our multi-step SOP and navigated various databases for data entry, coding, and filing. I also assisted with general lab and administrative duties, including the organization and preparation of study materials, etc.
