* Over two decades experience in the maritime industry primarily with bulk carriers. * Extensive experience with Drydocking/Ship Repair Projects of bulk carriers with desicion making responsibilities and authority on repairs/ dry dock specifications, shipyards evaluations,selection of subcontractors and materials, supervision of works and final settlement of repair bills with the yards. * Qualifications in Marine Engineering (MSc., BEng) from The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. * I commenced my career with Dubai Drydocks as Management Trainee of Production Department. At Dubai Drydocks obtained practical experience in planning, co-ordinating and monitoring the daily progress of large scale repairs and Dry Dockings of crude oil tankers. * Later on I moved to Greece and worked in the Technical Department for a number of Shipping companies as Superintendent Engineer, and Fleet Manager. * Certified Internal Auditor on ISO/ISM/ISPS. * Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology and Member of the Technical Institute of Greece (TEE).
