As senior member of the Automation team, my responsibilities include: ● Development of conceptual designs, technical proposals, specifications, cost estimates and schedules. ● New business opportunities: working cross-functionally with Sales, meetings with potential customers, preparing quotes, clarifying customer requirements. ● Design, documentation, and actively supporting build, testing, installation and commissioning of custom automation systems for the Automotive industry. (A-B PLC based control cabinets, custom robots, servo and VFD motion control, machine vision, conveyance, machine safety, power distribution). ● Integration, configuration, setup and programming of Keyence vision systems. Creation of schematics, layout drawings, BOMs and other supporting documentation for work performed in house or outsourced, and releasing through ECO process.

● Developed and implemented algorithms for Robust Control design, using simultaneous polynomial stabilization (Matlab, Control Systems Toolbox, Symbolic Math Toolbox). ● Worked with a team on developing a method for splitting a controller over network. Used wireless serial communication and rapid prototyping tools to build proof of concept and collect data (C, RTI). ● Developed framework for control systems algorithms implementation, using combination of automatic code generation and Real-Time OS multitasking (Real-Time Workshop, gcc, VxWorks, Tornado Target). ● Used xPC Target platform as “SW in the loop” to aid controller design and verification. ● Designed and built a fully functional prototype of 2-axis scanning sonar module (DC servo motors, encoders, ultrasonic rangefinding modules, PWM, H-bridge drivers, slip rings, microcontrollers, embedded C). ● Designed controllers in continuous-time domain, discretized the design and implemented using embedded microprocessor systems (Simulink embedded C, Keil IDE, Cygnal IDE).
