1. More than 8 years of management experience in the Lifecycle support of fielded ISR Systems (Radar, Sensors, UAVs) (Homeland Security) and particularly in Project Management, which resulted from the following assignments:a. 8 years tour (2001 -2008) at Hellenic Army General Staff / Signal Directorate/ Athens as Chief of ISR – EW Department. In that capacity, I was responsible for the: Army Field Radar and Sensor Units, Army Tactical UAV Units, Field Radars, Field E/O Sensors, Tactical UAV Sperwer Systems, EW army tactical systemsb. 4 years (2005-2008) at the Hellenic Army General Staff / Signal Directorate/ Athens where I was one of the Project Officers for the acquisition phase of Army new ISR systems in the years 2010-2015.2. I am the writer of various Hellenic army field manuals. Recently I wrote a book with the title “UAVs – The Past, the Present, and the Future” (in press).3. From 2009 to 2011 I was an associate professor of Electronics and Telecommunications at the Hellenic Army Academy.4. From 2009 to 2014 I cooperate with the Centre of Security Studies as a Researcher for EU funding research projects regarding the Security area. 5. 25 years of recent experience (2001-2010, 2012-2023) in the management of staff, in leading teams, and in sponsor negotiations.6. 12 Years as Owner - CEO of ADITESS LTD.Over the last years ADDITESS under my guidance, invested in establishing the role of the company through strong participation in EU R&D funded projects, FP7, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe frameworks, or various National R&D proposals in the fields of Security, ICT, Aeronautics (UAVs), Communications, Transportation and Environment. Achieving participation in twenty (21) EU-funded R&D projects, as well as three (3) R&D projects funded by Cyprus Research & Innovation Foundation. Developing three (3) major software applications for security-oriented solutions htps://ADDITESS.com/main/products/ADDITESS-products/, “AdiTask”; for community police actions, “VMCMS-GE”; a content management system for efficient storage, management archiving, processing and logging of multimedia/heterogeneous content through a modular architecture, and a “Command and Control - C2 system” for border surveillance operations. Moreover, since 2019 ADDITESS has also participated in (3) EDIDP/EDF R&D projects with funding from the European Defense Organization (EDF).
