* Moody’s Investors service were one of our main clients. The department of the assigned work was a subsidiary of Banking and Financial Sector. Primary work involved the maintenance support for PeopleSoft application and its users. Unix Shell Scripting, automation of batch jobs via scripts written in Unix Shell and SQL and troubleshooting application issues were some of the daily activities performed. The two main PeopleSoft modules – PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft HRMS- were integrated with their respective databases, Oracle and Sybase. Responsibilities involved were as follows: * Administer patches, updates and upgrades. * Develop, represent and implement plans for weekly and monthly roll-outs. * Creating automation scripts using Unix shells and SQL. * Resolving day to day issues related to PeopleSoft application. * Monitoring PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS environments.
