Reporting to the Group CEO of private equity Abu Dhabi based start-up with paid-up share capital of $500m growing over a significant period of time. Responsible for the delivery of the “bottom-line” profit, cashflow, capex and cost management for the Group. Board and Exco member responsible for the set-up of the Group shared service model for the Finance function to include finance, accounting, treasury, internal control, procurement, planning, credit, tax, payroll and cost management functions. Developing and maintaining external relationships with auditors, legal, suppliers, regulators and banks globally. Lead on set-up of corporate governance/control policies and processes across the Group.

CFO of Marine & Energy Lubricants business reporting in to the Business CEO with turnover in excess of $2.0bn. Key Exco team member helping to transform business through strategy, growth and simplification. Finance Exco lead on a number of transformation initiatives. Global Finance organisation of 200 with full accountability for all Finance related areas including financial accounting, control, planning, performance reporting & forecasting, credit, MI systems and invoicing.

Reporting to the CEO of UK Retail business with $1.1bn turnover, post tax profit of $150m and 800+ sites. Member of UK Retail Board of Directors and Exco with responsibility for "bottom-line" profitability, cashflow and cost management plus leading transformation agenda for Finance. Finance team of 30 with full accountability and delivery for Finance agenda including credit, financial accounting, control, performance, planning and internal audit.

Chief of Staff to Global CFO, BP Retail Business leading on people development for over 250 Finance staff and heavily influenced the development of the Finance Function in BP with over 4,500 staff.
