•Developed a unit-testing suite to test GPU microcode on a software simulation instead of an RTL Verilog simulation, streamlining the testing process; wrote unit tests for microcode responsible for communication between GPUs •Designed and implemented a message queue system in C within the GPU to ingest incoming messages, interpret message headers and payloads, and enqueue messages according to their priority to be processed appropriately •Designed a testing procedure to verify the message queue system by writing a Perl script to generate an incoming message, initiate the queuing process, and poll flag registers to determine if the message was processed properly
