Nicolás Guerra Viveros

As a Student Tutor in Construction Project Management, I provide academic support to my peers by clarifying concepts, guiding project development and course activities and reinforcing key methodologies in construction project management, such as budgeting, the Critical Path Method, among others. My role involves fostering collaborative learning, enhancing problem-solving skills, and ensuring a solid understanding of project planning, execution and control.

In my role as a Civil Engineering Assistant, I have actively contributed to the planning, design, and execution of various construction projects. My responsibilities have included preparing detailed engineering drawings and plans using CAD software, conducting site inspections and surveys to collect and analyze data, and assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets. I have also coordinated with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project alignment, supported the design and analysis of engineering projects, and monitored project progress to report any issues to senior engineers. Additionally, I have participated in project meetings, contributed to planning sessions, ensured compliance with safety and regulatory standards, performed material testing and quality control checks, and assisted in the preparation of environmental impact assessments. These experiences have enhanced my technical skills and deepened my understanding of infrastructure projects.
