Prior to joining the International Energy Brach at NRCan, Nicole served as a Government Policy Research Fellow at the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UNMGCY) while leading a team of Research Fellows studying issues related to Youth Action, Human Rights and Equity, etc.; and as a Macro Research Analyst at RBC Dominion Securities where she developed Macroeconomic forecasts shaping investments strategies in the Emerging Markets. In her previous role, she researched the impact of Sanctions and supported the mandate of two UN Security Council Sanctions Committees. Nicole graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Affairs.
