* Carried out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the policies and procedures created by York Region * Conducted low, medium and high risk food premise inspections with minimal to no supervision, identified and corrected infractions during inspections and conducted follow up inspections as required * Conducted inspections and investigations of recreational water facilities, small drinking water systems and personal services settings under the supervision of a Certified Public Health Inspector * Collected food and water samples, provided an interpretation of these results to clients and conducted further follow up as required in regards to these results * Conducted tick dragging, beach water sampling, West Nile Virus surveillance and delivered rabies presentations to day cares * Used Hedgehog software to prepare inspection reports, compile data and maintain records
