In 2014, Ms. Fried received an award from The Florida Bar's Legal Needs of Children Committee for her leadership of the Florida's Children First lobbying team/ Subsequently, Ms. Fried was appointed to The Florida Bar's Standing Committee on the Legal Needs of Children. In 2013, she was appointed to The Florida Bar Young Lawyers' Division Board of Governors and re-appointed for the next four years. She also served as Chair of that Board's Legislative Affairs Committee. In 2016, Ms. Fried helped in the formation of the Florida Bar Governmental and Public Policy Committee and was appointed as Vice-Chair of the Committee. Ms. Fried also serves on the Board of Directors of The LeRoy Collins Institute. In 2014, Ms. Fried was elected to the Board of Directors of Broward Days, a Broward County-based non-profit legislative advocacy and now serves as its Chair. A graduate of University of Florida Levin College of Law, she earned her Master of Arts in Political Campaigning and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. The former University of Florida Student Body President, Ms. Fried is also a member of University's Hall of Fame and prestigious Florida Blue Key. She also served the University on its Board of Trustees and currently serves on the University’s Governmental Relations Advisory Committee.
