Administer the intake and assessment process for English Language Learners. Schedule, organize and plan the California state mandated CELDT test for all students designated as English Learners in all 5 high schools in the district. Train and manage examiners and proctors. Process enrollment forms for English Learners. Score exams in accordance with state regulations and make recommendations for student class placement. Attend monthly meetings with parents of English Learners. Monitor EL class placement and run queries to insure that all data is correct. Order and inventory materials. Send all tests to the state of California for scoring by the deadline in accordance with their guidelines.

Teach young learners aged 2-6 basic English vocabulary and sentences. Make learning fun by playing games, singing songs and changing things up often to keep students interested. Work together with Chinese teachers. Create lesson plans, look for and invent fun games and chants relevant to each lesson. Attend meetings and workshops to further my development as a teacher.

Non-credit ESL instruction for adult learners. Experience teaching levels Pre-A, A, and B using Side by Side and Future textbooks. Spanish Literacy instruction using Estrellita supplemented by my own curriculum.

Temporary assignment through June 2012 Monitor FEP and LEP student's progress in core classes, check progress weekly and record for school data, assist with in-class assignments, notify students of testing dates and tutoring. Monitor student behavior. Assist with administration of standardized tests: CAHSEE and STAR. Organize test materials, proctor tests, call parents to get truant and home school students to come in for testing. Encourage students to do their best and take the test seriously.

Plan and deliver lessons to students through online learning platform. Use electronic media and EF-developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively. Evaluate student progress and providing on-going guidance for improvement. Correct student writing submissions.
