Nicolas Sanin Ordóñez

I work as a Photographer and artist, on my personal projects and also in collaboration with other Production companies and photographers. I also work on a part time basis as a Production assistant and artistic advisor for Hratch Arbach, at his studio in Brooklyn.

I've always loves all forms of art, and have enjoyed making art since I was a kid, but got more seriously in it in the last years of high school. I started to show my artworks in public institutions since I was a Student at Los Andes University.

I worked at the Research and Development department designing and implementing test to improve the technology made by the company. Also testing the user interface design to help the software engineers with feedback for a better user experience design.

Working as Production assistant, videographer and photographer with Multimedia artist Hratch Arbach, mainly on the Multimedia social art project Mawtini (Motherland). Now we are working as partners on the project, to continue presenting the project in other cities. So far it has been presented in Paris and New York.

I worked as a Professor teaching art history to students from different careers.

I was spent this great years teaching History of Art, sharing my love, curiosity and passion for art with my students.

I worked as a docent, second in command, at the Division of Education at the Museum. My roll was planning and executing different educational and cultural experiences for all kinds of visitors groups, including schools, kindergarten, university students, the elderly and disabled, diplomats, tourist and general public. Also helped occasionally the curation and conservation team with photographic documentation of the collection, as I had the photographic knowledge.

Graduated from I.T.P (Interactive Telecommunications Program) Master degree program at the New York University, at Tisch School of the Arts. An interdisciplinary Master degree about in art, design and interactive new media and telecommunications.
