Helping develop novel cell-based, biophysical, and biochemical assays, converting them to miniaturized 384-well/1536-well formats and performing their implementation for automation on available robotics systems. Performing a variety of laboratory tasks, including preparing samples, accurately analyzing data using state-of-the-art software (CBIS & Prism), and providing basic data interpretations. Directly supporting biomedical and drug discovery projects with an end goal of developing diverse capabilities throughout the pre-clinical drug discovery pipeline and ultimately benefiting patients. Maintaining multiple mammalian cell lines simultaneously and troubleshooting and modifying SOPs as needed. Utilizing standard mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, and protein analysis techniques. Operating automated multi-well plate readers and a range of liquid handling instruments. Performing acquisition and analysis of multi-parametric quantitative experimental data.

Assisted with animal care by performing custodial duties, updating and maintaining animal records, and distributing specialized diets to all animals present. Maintained sanitized surfaces throughout wards to ensure animal safety in accordance with UC Davis guidelines, while upholding records of inventory of surgical supplies.

Worked in a team setting to streamline event planing for conferences, exhibitions, and meetings held at the Alumni Center. Performed customer conflict resolution using effective communication to ensure customer happiness and successfully execute customized event plans tailored to customers' specifications.

Provided proper care for UC Davis Dairy calves by supplying specialized, age-dependent diets and documenting behavior and calf eating habits. Worked in a fast-paced team setting to ensure sanitization of all equipment used and practiced limited contact to ensure low risk of biocontamination.

Provided proper care to goats at the UC Davis goat barn by distributing specialized nutrition based on age group, documenting behavior and food consumption, and analyzing rates of growth. Ensured disinfection and sanitization of all equipment used, as well as daily cleanings of pens and crates while also practicing proper pasteurization methods for all goat milk used.
