I led the Flying Qualities CF team through the envelope expansion path to include not only core testing but also working with the Flutter, Loads and Air Data teams, coordinating efforts across the CF test jets to facilitate safe and efficient testing. Responsible for directing daily tasking, mission planning and troubleshooting for a diverse team comprised of 15 engineers from Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems and the US Government with experience ranging from entry-level to 25+ years. In addition to my Variant Lead role, I was able to leverage my knowledge of CF testing to assist the PAX Execution and Planning team by identifying alternate test paths and in developing strategic planning to expedite testing. I have supported over 400 flights to date.

Member of the BF-1 Flying Qualities team, responsible for planning and execution of test flights in support of the STOVL variant of F-35. It was my responsibility to coordinate testing across multiple disciplines and to punctually disposition and resolve test issues. Qualified as a flying qualities lead for both Conventional and STOVL testing, I led a team of 4-5 engineers in the Control Room and, using this experience, took the initiative to implement a very successful mentorship program for the Flying Qualities team. I co-led the flying qualities development of the LHD Ship trial test plan; my duties included integrating numerous test limitations, specs and objectives into a test plan which contributed towards a highly successful deployment to the carrier.

Responsibilities comprised of conducting simulation sessions with test pilots to validate system design with ongoing trouble shooting resolution where necessary. I participated in design work, development of test files for the Hover pit trial and wrote major sections of the FFRR report, which ultimately delivered an initial clearance for flight for the F-35B aircraft.

I supported numerous wind tunnel trips and provided weekly analysis presentations to upper management on a weekly basis. My principal responsibility was the development of 6-DOF aerodynamic database tables from data gathered at the wind tunnel. I was assigned point of contact for maintaining accurate and current pitch margin analysis for the F-35C aircraft.

Primary responsibilities included integrating the Control Laws into the simulator model working with an international team to provide Typhoon flight clearances. Other duties included providing presentations and flight displays for VIP customer visits; I was chosen to represent BAE Systems at the '99 Paris airshow.
