Nico Fischer

I was selected for the Stanford Young Investigator program, which provides Bay Area youth with free, hands-on research experience in environmental science at Stanford University. Under the mentorship of professionals from Stanford Law School, I conducted research on making California’s Cap-and-Trade system more equitable. My experience also included educational and engaging activities, such as visiting an oceanography lab, hiking along the California coast, and making pizza at the Stanford Farm. My research was sponsored by Stanford to be presented at the American Geophysical Union’s Annual Conference.
