* A research and development company who’s origin was sparked from the Wireless Health Institute of UCLA. Incubated in the California Nano Systems Institute, the company’s focus is on the development of wireless personal monitoring devices, for the advancement and delivery of healthcare. Fulfilling the position of Medical Director, my duties entailed: establishing and overseeing clinical studies * monitoring compliance issues pertaining to the FDA, HIPPA, Stark and Safe Harbor * completion & submission of FDA applications, and fulfillment of the approval process * collaboration in product design & development * collaborating in sales & marketing strategies * and serving as a key note speaker to increase industry and public awareness for The Company. As member of the product development team I successfully developed an embedded sensor foot orthotic which exited with a license for royalties.

NeuroRecovery Technologies is a new, cutting-edge medical technology company focused on the design and development of devices and applications to help restore function & movement in patients with paralysis. The technology being developed originated from the scientific labs of UCLA, The California Institute of Technical, and The University of Louisville; based on 35 years of research of renowned neurophysiologist Dr. V. Reggie Edgerton. As co-founder & CEO I have led the company from inception through seed funding and the successful launch of commercial development for our break-through technology. I am now steering the company through Series A financing and positioning the Team to begin clinical trials on our first product, a unique novel non-invasive spinal cord neuromodulator system.
