As a robotics engineer at Jaia Robotics, I apply both my degree in computer science and experience with mechanical engineering principles to help create and test innovative software and hardware solutions for ocean robotics applications. I work with a team of talented engineers and designers to develop, debug, and optimize code using common languages such as TypeScript, Python, and C++. At Jaia, I also utilize CAD tools to design and model robotic components and systems. Having grown up in Newport, Rhode Island, I was brought up with an extreme respect and admiration for the sea, and am so excited to be able to apply my skills towards its exploration and preservation.
