ROAM was founded in 2017 by four adventurers from Austin, Texas. Whether it’s a summer spent on the road, or a Friday night drive for a weekend off the grid, we’re there. Our product line is inspired by the mobility and spontaneity of the rooftop tent. We believe that progressive camping solutions are instrumental to our community. • Design sophisticated, captivating, and robust gaming machines using leading edge technology • 1 of 2 lead designers of the next generation gaming machines and video signage • Work with industrial design companies to develop avant-garde design languages • Create complex 3D models, 500+ part assemblies, detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and BOMs • Supported the Compliance Team to assist in guiding products through strictly regulated testing phases

- Designed aesthetically pleasing housings, fixtures,trims and other lighting components. - Lead designer of 15+ products. - Built prototypes of new designs to test functionality. - Set up and carried out thermal, air leak and IP testing on new and experimental housings and fixtures. - Maintained UL and ETL compliance documents. - Ran cost analysis on new and current products to decrease production costs. - Communicated with vendors and manufacturers to exchange necessary technical information. - Inspected and approved/rejected first article parts based on critical dimensions.
