Responsible for the leading and motivating of a workgroup of freight handlers and/or drivers in a manner that will achieve continuous measurable improvement, desired performance goals and results. Primary duties involved supervising associates and ensuring timely, damage-free loading/unloading of freight. Included associate training and development. Ensure a safe, healthy work environment and endeavors to keep associate morale at a high level. Required meeting scheduling and customer requirements, as well as, assisting freight handlers and Pick-Up and Delivery Drivers in their daily activities.

Responsible for the managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. Manages the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and plant facilities. Keeps in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations. Supervise up to 16 in-house facility technicians and housekeeping staff, and also supervise the activities of all outside contractors who are working in our plant or on our grounds.
