Experience

Digital Test Infrastructure Engineer — Xeon
California, United States
- Wrote an API to streamline access to an HBase database with key manufacturing process data, integrated it with ML quality analysis tools, and enabled an interactive dashboard where users can see a high-level analysis of data which once required a lot of manual effort to view at even a low level - Pair-programmed a decision tree machine learning tool to predict test failures and reduce Linux container resource waste - Wrote a secure elevation tool in C++, relying on built-in Linux libraries to allow users to securely access a generic account in order to execute certain automated commands without a password (retaining useful data like Xauth keys, preserving logs, and simplifying account access within our shared SLES boxes without compromising security) - Refreshed a legacy tool with a more efficient DB architecture and interface to alleviate a major pressure point in our conversion flow and speed up conversion 30x without completely overhauling the infrastructure, saving our team weeks of effort during key activities where every minute is scrutinized - Spearheaded initiatives to pivot our team to GitHub and a "software first" mentality

Digital Test Infrastructure Engineer — Xeon

Developed a suite of automation tools in python to enhance and simplify my team's experience with our translation infrastructure, including replacing manual config file generation and several stages with one command, automatic failure repair, and one result summary

"Drone Killer" Project Leader
Baltimore, MD
Under the advisement of Dr. Charbel Rizk, we designed and developed a lightweight, low-cost set of software which connects an Android phone to a drone to (autonomously) scan a given airspace, detect another drone, and chase after it, all while delivering a live video feed (4G/LTE) of the progress to a separate, high-level control phone. Project sponsored by the JHU Applied Physics Lab and the Johns Hopkins University

NanoEnergy Lab Research Assistant
Baltimore, MD
I worked in Dr. Susanna Thon's NanoEnergy Lab, tuning the synthesis of colloidal quantum dot solar cells and designing more efficient, low-cost, and flexible photovoltaic devices to harvest energy from solar electromagnetic radiation. (https://engineering.jhu.edu/nanoenergy/)

Course Assistant for Introductory Programming in Java
Baltimore, MD
I held weekly office hours and graded course work. I learned how to work with students at a variety of skill levels, helping new programmers with basic concepts and asking open-ended questions to challenge experienced students.
