I was primarily responsible for the database of resources used on the website, print, and social media platforms. All of the forms of media, produced internally or out-sourced, were central to my workflow. The varied departments within Spertus invited me to create copy, video, audio, and photography content that has become an integral part of their marketing strategies. I managed the content through Drupal CMS, and kept track of trends and SEO through Google Analytics. The web developer, marketing team, and I regularly collaborated to populate the website and ensure our mission was consistent across platforms.

My duties as a Graduate Work Aid for the Interdisciplinary Arts and Media MFA program at Columbia College Chicago fall under the category of things an "assistant technical coordinator" does. More specifically I will perform such tasks as installation for exhibition, computer lab management, equipment checkout center operation, workshop instruction, training for a laser cutter, maintaining various video, etc installations run by the department, and much more.

video art, sound art, programming in MaxMSP and Arduino, sound installations, video installations, painting, video projection over paintings, printmaking, printmaking by way of laser-etching plates, laser cutting, a few art books on the subject matter of the poetics of astronomy, did a ton of experimental astrophotography, developed my amateur astronomy skills, did some other multi-media installations, IMAGe Unit President & principle member, interactive installation art, computer-based art, studied 21st century aesthetic theory, studied history of new media, learned a bit of the politics of a graduate institution, made some really solid friends, started a booming hobby-career in modeling (both 3D and physical)...um...developed some really useful computer network management skills, curated an international new media/interdisciplinary art exhibit and wrote/published supplemental catalog featuring work from the exhibit as well as essays contributing to critical theory of post-humanism (found here: http://my.qoop.com/store/Nicholas-Sagan-626945976770310), developed my artist's portfolio website as well as project blog...
