Responsible for in-depth analysis of any role within the Royal Naval Reserves in need of training design. This requires a wide-ranging knowledge of the roles and functions of the Naval Reserves and the ability to engage with both military and civilian Subject Matter Experts across various branches in order to accurately map every detail of the job under scrutiny. Without this process being completed in detail the resulting training solution could fail to meet the needs of the Service, with potentially serious implications for the worldwide operations of the RNR, affecting military outputs and budgets for periods up to five years.

Conduct of objective, evidence-based assessment of potential officer recruits for all specialisations within RN, RM and RFA utilising CIPD approved techniques. Organisation of frequent VIP visit programmes to demonstrate working practices to diverse audience including civilian industry and public sector leaders including senior government figures. Continuous monitoring and improvement of current working practices based on experience, supported by credible evidence and well-considered research.
