The Chief Operations and Programs Officer (COPO) advances operational and financial excellence; team leadership and program oversight; and strategic growth for ADN, all of which are key drivers of an ecosystem that nurtures entrepreneurial spirit and mobilizes intellectual and financial resources for a prosperous future across the Continent and beyond. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, ADN is a catalyst for positive change and growth in Africa, its diaspora, and global communities. The COPO provides executive oversight for ADN’s signature programs (e.g., African Diaspora Investment Symposium, Accelerating Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship, African Scientific Community Engagement, and Impact and Innovation Forums), ensuring strategic alignment and quality outcomes. The role supervises, supports, and mentors senior team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture grounded in trust and integrity while leading recruitment, professional development, and strategic team retreats to ensure organizational alignment and innovation. In collaboration with the CEO, the COPO develops strategies and streamlines systems based on short-term and long-range planning; cultivates and manages relationships with global stakeholders, developing compelling proposals and reports to support ADN’s growth; and serves as a high-level public representative for ADN at conferences and global convenings to enhance visibility and attract resources.

The Deputy Vice President (DVP) serves as the principal assistant, key technical advisor and authority for the Vice President, Congressional and Public Affairs, on all public affairs, communication, external affairs and congressional affairs matters and is responsible for providing direction and coordination across organizational lines as well as acting as a spokesperson for the Corporation. The DVP is also directly responsible for providing leadership direction and coordination for MCC's international communications portfolio.

● Partner with USAID Missions, Bureaus, and Independent Offices for effectively to build Agency capacity for engaging the private sector in the achievement of USAID’s development objectives. ● Develop and scale partnerships with global and local stakeholders to extend the impact and sustainability of USAID programs, leveraging the knowledge, expertise, resources, technologies and innovations of partner organizations. ● Provide tailored, targeted, and appropriate PSE capacity building initiatives at the individual and institutional levels.

USAID is the U.S. Government Agency responsible for leading international development and disaster assistance. Operating in more than 80 countries around the world, the Agency works to save lives, reduce poverty, strengthen democratic governance, and help people emerge from humanitarian crises and progress beyond the need for foreign assistance. With more than 400 active private sector partnerships that bring the unique expertise of the private sector and mobilize billions of dollars in long-term market investments to advance development results, Nicholas' team focuses on supporting the Agency – through a range of technical assistance activities - in harnessing the power of the private sector in support of development goals. Nicholas leads the unit charged with implementing USAID's first Private Sector Engagement Policy, which serves as a call to action for all USAID staff and partners to embrace market-based approaches as a more-sustainable way to support communities in achieving development and humanitarian outcomes at scale.

Frontier Partnerships focuses on two core activities: (1) directly building public-private partnerships, many of them Global Development Alliances (GDAs), in areas which align to USAID and U.S. Global Development Lab priorities; (2) partnering with non-traditional stakeholders and developing innovative ways to leverage and unlock private sector capital through innovative financing methods. Mr. Bassey is responsible for managing a team of direct hires and contractors, and he manages the budget and resource allocation for the division's program funds. These funds are invested in PPPs in the areas of diaspora engagement; LGBT engagement; and women’s economic empowerment. He represents the Agency at various external forums as a speaker on USAID’s approach to diaspora engagement and public-private partnerships.

The Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing the Research and Innovation Fellowship Team within the U.S. Global Development Lab. The incumbent's focus is fixed on identifying and developing partnership programs with universities, government agencies, and private sector institutions. These partnerships place promising talent, both professors and students, with host organizations, universities, corporations, and other agencies in key countries identified by USAID. The Team Lead collaborates with universities and private sector institutions and provides technical expertise and oversight in managing existing partnerships; developing new partnerships and expanding the network to include Fellows from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and other non-academic institutions. Ideal partnerships collaboratively apply science, technology, and innovation to complex social and economic development challenges and support the strategic goals of the U.S. Global Development Lab and USAID missions abroad.

The Director of University Programs participates closely with the Agency Director and other senior Peace Corps officials in the resolution of issues that influence the image and/or character of the agency and its higher education programs. The incumbent establishes and facilitates collaborative relationships and partnerships with colleges and universities to support recruitment for the Peace Corps' Master's International program; engages colleges and universities to successfully manage and grow the Paul D. Coverdell Fellows program to provide financial support to returned Peace Corps Volunteers for graduate studies; and manages the identification and development of new university partnership offerings to support the mission of the Peace Corps.

The Director of Placement is the principal advisor to the VRS Chief of Operations for the administration of Peace Corps' volunteer selection and placement program. The incumbent oversees headquarters-based applicant qualification and invitation procedures, directs the operations of the Placement Unit; assures placement program planning and evaluation; and participates in activities which establish and define the agency's trainee input goals. In conjunction with other agency management staff, the incumbent works to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the volunteer delivery system.

The United Negro College Fund Special Programs Corporation's Institute for International Public Policy (IIPP) leads a consortium of institutions of higher education and other non-profit organizations whose purpose is to increase the representation of minorities in international affairs and global public policy in the government, private and non-profit sectors.

The Council for Opportunity in Education is a nonprofit organization, established in 1981, dedicated to furthering the expansion of educational opportunities throughout the United States. Through its numerous membership services, the Council works in conjunction with colleges, universities, and agencies that host TRIO Programs to specifically help low-income Americans enter college and graduate.

CDF Freedom Schools program provides critical summer and after-school enrichment through a model curriculum that supports children and families around five essential components: high quality academic enrichment, parent and family involvement, civic engagement and social action, intergenerational leadership development, and nutrition, health and mental health. Growing out of the Children's Defense Fund's Black Community Crusade for Children® Initiative, the CDF Freedom Schools sites offer a unique vision of education, rooted in the cultural traditions of literacy, service, and advocacy.

The Office of Community Service seeks to utilize its resources to develop and encourage volunteerism. It OCS' wish to perpetuate a culture of service on the Morehouse College campus that will strengthen student resolve to be accountable as leaders, with the desire to be stewards of positive social change. Students and others of the Morehouse College family know that the path they walk in service extends beyond the classrooms and/or offices of the Atlanta University Center.
