I developed and implemented object-oriented models of spacecraft subsystems into a simulation-based systems engineering tool.

Experimental characterization of supersonic combustion using optical techniques including high-speed schlieren and intensified chemiluminescence. Led the development an ultra-high-speed (250kfps) schlieren imaging system and velocimetry algorithms to measure velocity in up to Mach 2 turbulent reacting flows Subgrid-scale modeling of supersonic combustion for large-eddy simulations of scramjet combustors. Co-developed a supersonic combustion simulation framework that was featured in the Next Generation CFD invited talk series at the 2015 AIAA Aviation conference Management of day-to-day operations of a large supersonic reacting flow laboratory, including engineering and design, fabrication, and safety-related activities
