Hey! I study Economics and Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin, and originally am from Alief, Texas. I’m passionate about financial law, women’s rights, and community engagement. My experience includes student leadership and community engagement through programs like the Youth Leadership Conference, as well as coaching and judging at local and state Speech & Debate tournaments. Through my studies and work experience, I’ve developed a strong foundation in economic theory, analysis, and data interpretation. In my free time, I enjoy reading historical texts, visiting the archery range, exploring new restaurants, and hitting the golf course with my sand wedge. I’m also involved in coaching through the University of Houston Honors Debate Camp and the Texas Debate Collective Nonprofit, helping students develop their advocacy and public speaking skills. As an instructor at the University of Houston Honors Debate Camp Workshop, I had the opportunity to work closely with high school students, fostering their development in essential skills such as argumentation, research, and critical thinking.
