Ngoan Huynh

Hi, I’m Ngoan! I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Accounting (MSAcc) and a BA in Business Administration – Accounting from the University of Washington Tacoma. I’ll be starting my professional career at Andersen as a State and Local Tax (SALT) Associate in the Seattle office while pursuing my CPA license. Professionally, I’ve gained hands-on experience through multiple tax internships where I prepared a wide range of tax returns as a SALT, Commercial, and PCS intern. These roles sharpened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of tax law, compliance, and client service, with a strong focus on tax compliance across individual, corporate, and trust filings. Beyond the classroom and office, I was actively involved in campus leadership. As Chairperson of the Services and Activities Fee Committee, I led funding decisions for student programs, navigated the complex organizational needs of university stakeholders, and facilitated hiring for the next academic year. I also served as Director of Marketing for the Accounting Student Association (ASA) and Media Director for the Vietnamese Student Association (VSAUWT), where I helped connect students with professional opportunities and coordinated large-scale events. As I begin my career in public accounting, I’m excited to apply my academic knowledge, leadership experience, and practical skills to deliver value in the field of accounting and taxation. I look forward to growing professionally and building meaningful connections in the industry.
