About
I am focused on increasing access to medical technologies in low resource settings. Presently, I am working on biosensor devices for early detection of diseases. I also actively participate in K-12 outreach and various STEM events. I'm always exploring new ideas and methods to reach out and impact more students, and would love to discuss new ideas! Questions I'm consistently asking myself: -How do we best approach a problem in society and attempt to help it? -How can I/my peers expose a general population to our work? How do we start open dialogues with people of different experiences and expertise? -Is my work going to actually change a system (even minutely) beyond a publication? Please do not hesitate to contact me --- Particularly if it involves outreach, teaching, medical diagnostics, and problems in medicine. I'm eager to start dialogues exploring science! In my free time, I strap a tent on the back of my bike and go on multi day biking trips.

course instructor
inspirit ai
Taught and helped develop project based curriculum to introduce modern artificial intelligence to high school students in a two week intensive course. Curriculum develops from linear and logistic regression, building up to KNNs, NLP, and CNNs via socially impactful projects. Also lead discussions on ethical and societal implications of AI, with focuses on India--our pilot location. Instructor team are graduate students and alumni predominantly from Stanford. lead instructor
kode kids
I prepared, led, and taught week-long computer coding sessions to students age 7 to 14. The course taught the programming language Scratch via a fun, project driven environment. Using the Scratch curriculum, I created multiple three-hour lesson plans to teach programming basics as well as engage student interest in computer science. By collaborating with a high school-aged assistant instructor, we ensured a helpful, positive learning environment. My frequent interaction with parents ensured they were kept updated on their child's progress. Over the summer, the students and parents have expressed great interest in taking the course again, and are recommending other students to take part in the course.
