I was an integral part of the Woven and Circular Knit department, with a primary focus on designing dresses and blouses. My role covered all aspects of the design process, from conceptualization to final product development, ensuring that each piece aligned with the brand's aesthetic and customer demands. In addition to my core design responsibilities, I was also involved in trend forecasting, fabric selection, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production timelines. My work combined creativity with a strong understanding of market needs. My responsibilities include staying current with the latest fashion trends and overseeing the fitting and production processes for each garment. I work with the direction and trends team to develop cohesive collections, and also closely with the quality team to ensure that all products meet our high standards.

Managing the design strategy of circular knit/ jersey/cut and sew and trends collections for the young woman at El Corte Ingles own brands, maintaining a strong and consistent direction from mood boards and shopping trips to final product. - Trend research, garment design and technical specifications. - Sales analysis, range planning, fabric and factory allocation. - Designing graphics placements and all over prints with graphic design team. - Daily communication with suppliers regarding design and technical specifications. - Managing fit sessions and set product direction in line with design requirements. - Travel internationally and locally to shop for inspiration samples and prints for the design team and also to develop new collections. - Ensuring proper fit, construction, and washes of garments working alongside tech design and production teams. - Developing embroideries, embellishments, and fabrics on a seasonal basis to be used from initial concept to production stages.
