I work within the Rule of Law Advisory Team in the office of the Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria. My role is to lead a number of initiatives aimed at improving service delivery of the police in Nigeria and to coordinate with civil society, development partners and other government and law enforcement agencies all geared towards police reforms.

I work with a team to oversee a portfolio of projects in Nigeria

In August and September, I headed one of the three offices of the Foundation and led in Research and Strategy Development as well as in policy and advocacy. In August 2015, I served as the acting Executive Director and helped to oversee the transition between two executive directors of the organization. I continue to bridge the gap as the new Executive Director assumed full leadership in September 2015 and the Deputy Executive Director resumed in October. I now oversee the implementation of a portfolio of projects being and lead in developing our work in the areas of criminal justice reforms and in countering violent extremism.

* I head the Lagos office of the CLEEN Foundation and provide leadership to the team in developing and implementing projects in South-West Nigeria and also oversee the portfolio of research, surveys and analyses. I lead in the implementation of projects on elections and election security management * anti-corruption * justice and security sector reforms * migration and security of migration among others. I am responsible for developing new project areas in Lagos and into the West African region as well as working with colleagues on a number of projects especially on the security sector.

120 credit interdisciplinary Masters program in International Migration and Ethnic Relations. Program covered introduction to legal frameworks for migration; refugee law and policies; citizenship; identity; belonging and integration. I concluded with an award-winning thesis on citizenship in and state creation in Nigeria. Training on the Afrobarometer opinion survey, the use of quantitative research methods and statistical analysis.
