I opened my own company at the age of 21 with a business partner in the field of Land surveying. We performed all aspects of surveying and worked for numerous clients across the North West of England. I gained many skills during my time as a company director including organisational skills, controlling finances, designating work loads, office based skills and tax knowledge. We were relatively successful whilst operational but had to cease trading due to outside influences from client companies being liquidated. This was a hugely enjoyable time within my career.
