Working with the Open TV development software and hardware, research and developed closely with customer games for the Sky broadcasting satellite. Due to the limited performance of the set top boxes, it was a rewarding challenge to reproduce the games that played and felt as per the original arcade systems.

Working closely with customers, profiling and porting their STB middleware to Ants's browser and client, allowing access to fully customized EPG, PVR and VOD services. This has opened myself to gain more experience in linux and embedded development. My other dutys include support for the Windows version of the system, assistance with the test department and customer support.

Responsibilities included revamping the internal library and building set, development of internal tools that included editors to allow quick design and easy re-skinning of projects. Other responsibilities included peer review, coding standards and also guidance for the less experienced on the team. On top of this, I also produced several Disney titles for broadcast on Sky UK (Disney Channel etc), Sky Italia and also Bell Express Vu in Canada.

as a Window's / Macintosh developer aiding the design and support of a digital media viewing application. This application is generally used within the Newspaper industry allowing librarians easy access to newspaper articles and photographs stored on database. The Window's application is developed using MFC and contains several OCX's which aid it's interface, both to the user and the server. The Macintosh version is build using an in-house framework so supporting this has given me a sound footing in development on the Macintosh system. Also, due to the database being situated on Sun Systems it's enabled me to gain a little Unix

Working with a small team on the development and maintenance of OMNIS Studio. OMNIS Studio is primarily a client-server front end development tool; running on a multitude of platforms, including Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows NT, Macintosh and Power Macintosh.; My primary role here was to supply support for the several external libraries that the product requires to function on all it's supported platforms. This has extended my knowledge of several platforms and associated development tools. Secondary duties include mastering the product, from creating the installer projects to the finished Gold CD. During my employment here I spent 6 months working on porting OMNIS Studio to the OS2 platform. Unfortunately the port had to be shelved due to a management decision, however it gave a sound footing in understanding, and developing under, OS2.

* Jointly Founded East Point Software, expanding from the initial four directors to at time of leaving, a total of 17 employee's.
