Role & Responsibilities Operating as: Quality Control Engineer for a project with ISRO VSSC for development of Aerospace Aluminum Alloys. Team Leader for the process control team of sheet rolling shop. Technical In charge leading a team of 8 process associates to effectively execute the daily operations and planned execution during crisis. Technical In charge for 10 months in Aluminum Smelting Process. Certified ISO-9001:2001, ISO-14000:2004, OHSAS-18001:2007 internal auditor (certified by IRQS). Contributions: Introduced new system of process control in Sheet rolling shop of fabrication. By round the clock auditing and controlling any non conformity found on the spot, if not possible to control then rolling non-critical product helped to reduce the rejection and increase recovery. Discovered the heat treatment cycles of hard aerospace grade aluminum alloys on by lab scale trials and also implemented the same on shop floor along with specialist from ISRO, VSSC. Nominated for ACT-UP process (a process for selecting the star of the business). Sep'06 with BALCO (VEDANTA) as Mentor (Quality Assurance) Trained a team of process associates (B.Sc.) as future leaders for the existing Sheet Rolling Shop.
