As Business Development Team Leader at LC Dubai, I manage a team overseeing outreach to 30+ companies, universities, and speakers across Dubai. I design outreach strategies, train team members on pipeline conversion, and manage the full stakeholder journey from initial contact to confirmed partnership. Organisations engaged include AstroLabs, Women in Tech DXB, and The Millennium School Dubai. Alongside this, I serve as VP of the Women in STEM Initiative, a programme connecting young women with STEM opportunities across Dubai, operating under AIESEC's global Heading for the Future initiative. I oversee BD and outreach to schools, companies, and universities, managing the full partnership cycle end-to-end. Additionally served as Project Accountant for Food Heroes, a community education initiative reaching 715 children, coordinating volunteers across online sessions.

Teaching classical Indian dance to beginners aged 4–10, building foundations in posture, rhythm, and expression. This role has strengthened my ability to communicate complex techniques, manage a classroom environment, adapt my teaching style to individual learners, and build confidence in young students from diverse backgrounds.

During my internship at Union Co-op’s Al Twar Branch, I gained comprehensive exposure to the inner workings of one of the UAE’s most established cooperative retail organisations. Rotating across store operations and customer service, I developed a practical understanding of how a high-footfall retail environment functions on a day-to-day basis, from the shop floor all the way back to procurement. A key part of my experience involved working directly alongside merchandisers, where I learned how product orders are placed through both external companies and internal warehouse systems. I observed and assisted with full category resets, including a complete reorganisation of the coffee section, learning how product accessibility, shelf positioning, and the FIFO (First In, First Out) method are applied to drive sales efficiency and minimise waste. On the commercial side, I gained exposure to how promotional strategies are planned and executed at branch level, including weekend promotions and Happy Deals campaigns. I assisted with printing and placing pricing labels across departments, giving me a real understanding of how pricing decisions translate from planning to the shop floor. I also shadowed cashier operations and customer service teams, observing how transactions, pricing queries, and customer interactions are handled in a busy retail setting. This gave me valuable insight into the human side of retail, how service standards are maintained and how complaints and queries are resolved professionally. Overall, this traineeship gave me a well-rounded view of retail operations that directly complements my academic studies in Accounting and Finance, bridging the gap between theory and real-world business practice.
